This battery is actually Super Capacitor. Its a kind of technology that can replace batteries to charge the mobile in just few seconds.

Now with Super- Capacitor Technology Charge your Phone Just in Seconds

The researchers, who performed the experiment and the author of this report has said that their “Super-capacitor” can recharge the battery of a mobile phone in just a few seconds and the users will not need to recharge the phone’s battery before a week. Researcher Nitin Choudhary said: This small battery can be recharged more than 30,000 times. Normal lithium batteries begin to tire within a few hundred charges. They typically last between 300 to 500 full charge and drain cycles before dropping to 70 percent of their original capacity. Super-Capacitors release a lot of energy. They have unbelievable potential when it comes to powering technology. These capacitors will also stop ‘old phone dying fast’ problem, where phone holds less charge after 1.5 years because the battery begins to degrade. Jung, an assistant professor at UCF said: Two-dimensional nano-materials are attached to super-capacitors. In this way researchers have created super-capacitors that are a lot smaller, lighter, and more flexible and are capable of more storage capability. The most competent models of electric cars have to depend on heavy, slow charging batteries. If these batteries are replaced with capable super-capacitors, they can be charged in seconds, and would be much lighter. This new method hasn’t reached that level just yet, but the team says that it has the potential to be made better in further.
