How To Pay in Grab?
Users can pay for rides using GrabPay credits and gain GrabRewards points. For better navigation, the app will also be in the consumer’s preferred language. Similar to Careem Wallet, users will be able to pay for Grab rides and also receive GrabRewards points, presumably for potential ride concessions. The software will include a variety of user-friendly languages. Careem, which Uber acquired for US$ 3.1 billion earlier this year, has more than one million drivers in the Middle East. Careem will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Uber once the acquisition is closed, which is expected to take place in Q1 2020.
Grab Services in different Cities
Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Multan, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Abbottabad, Sargodha, Mardan, Sukkur, Quetta, and Bahawalpur will initially be included in Grab’s list of cities. With time, more towns will be added. It will also have the Customer Experience team on board where customers can use the app to contact local emergency services. This extension comes as a result of Grab’s collaboration with Splyt, a mobility marketplace based in London that links supply and demand for land transportation. The collaboration will introduce Splyt’s mobility partners network to the Grab app, which will allow users to book rides through the app across 8 countries. The cab service to Pakistan and other countries will be available in 2020.

Splyt Technologies is a London-based platform for business-to-business mobility. Via various apps, including Ctrip and AliPay, Grab and Splyt already allow travelers to book Grab rides across 336 cities in eight Southeast Asian markets.
